Poreč hosts the Cornhole World Cup
Poreč, Croatia, will host the Cornhole World Cup at the Žatika Hall. The five-day tournament is expected to draw over 350 players from 27 countries across four continents.
The event is organized by the Sportsko-rekreacijsko društvo Cornhole Istra-Pazin as part of the ACL Europe series. The competition features 22 national teams competing for the world title, with a professional American team entering as the heavy favorite to secure their fifth consecutive championship.
In addition to the World Cup, the tournament will include a competition for the top 16 individuals and pairs in Europe, offering winners a trip to a cornhole tournament in the United States. The Croatian national team, led by captain Alen Jakus, aims to improve upon its fourth-place finish from the previous year.
