Poreč-Parenzo summer camp concludes with over 400 children participating

The summer camp organized by the City of Poreč-Parenzo and the Poreč Sports Community has concluded its latest edition. Over the past two months, more than 400 children participated in the program, which was held at the City Beach and the Pinia Hotel in Špadići.

Divided into three age groups ranging from preschool to 5th grade, the camp offered a variety of activities including swimming lessons, sports workshops, creative sessions, Red Cross lectures, and excursions to locations such as St. Nicholas Island, Istralandia aquapark, and Dino Park. The program was supported by professional leaders, assistants, volunteers, and sports coaches.

Mayor Loris Peršurić noted that the city co-finances the stay for local children and provides full funding for those in social need. The event was also supported by Valamar, which provided space for the activities, highlighting a collaborative effort to provide value to the local community.
