Porsche 911 GT3 crashes at Serres Circuit

A Porsche 911 GT3 (992.1) was involved in a high-speed crash during a track day event at the Serres Circuit on Saturday, October 17. The driver reportedly lost control of the rear of the vehicle while exiting the final corner before the start-finish straight, causing the car to strike the protective barriers and overturn.

Despite the extensive damage to the vehicle, both the driver and the passenger managed to exit the car without sustaining serious injuries. While initial reports suggested the vehicle might have been a GT3 RS model, subsequent details identified it as the 510 PS 4.0-liter naturally aspirated GT3. The exact cause of the loss of control, whether due to driver error or track conditions, has not yet been officially determined.
