Porsche announces luxury real estate projects and multimedia updates
Porsche has announced two major initiatives targeting its luxury consumer base. The company is launching the Porsche Design Concours, a series of ultra-luxury residential-style developments designed for supercar owners. Scheduled for completion in 2028, the first two units will be located in Florida and Texas, USA. These developments feature private studios ranging from 250 to 560 square meters, designed to allow owners to work and socialize while displaying their vehicles as art within their living spaces. The complexes will include exclusive amenities such as a clubhouse, restaurants, coworking spaces, a spa, and padel courts.
In addition to real estate, Porsche is modernizing its older vehicle lineup with the improved PCCM Plus multimedia system. This update is compatible with over 300,000 vehicles, specifically targeting 911, Boxster, and Cayman models manufactured between 2009 and 2016. The new system features a seven-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and remote map updates. For Boxster and Cayman models, the update also enhances parking assistance with visual distance indicators.
