Porsche Cayenne GTS loses nearly $40,000 in value after nine months

A 2026 Porsche Cayenne GTS experienced a significant depreciation of $38,490 within just nine months of ownership. The vehicle, which featured over $37,000 in optional equipment including the Technology, Sport, and Premium Plus packages, was originally purchased in January 2026 for $169,990.

Following an online auction on Cars&Bids that concluded on October 28, 2026, the SUV sold for $131,500. With an odometer reading of 5,400 miles, the loss in value equates to more than $7 per mile driven. The owner cited a preference for the Alpina XB7, noting it better suited his family's needs for extra space.

The Cayenne GTS is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 500 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque, capable of a 0-60 mph sprint in 4.4 seconds.
