Porsche Cup Endurance championship debuts in Brasília
The Porsche Cup Brasil endurance championship has arrived at the Autódromo Internacional de Brasília for its second 300 km race of the year. This marks the debut of the Brasília circuit on the competition's calendar. The track, recently renovated and holding FIA Grade 4 homologation, is the third largest layout used in the category's history.
During the initial optional practice sessions, the duo of Marçal Muller and Gaetano Di Mauro led the timing screens in car #544, recording a best lap of 1:55.633. Other notable competitors include Silvio Morestoni and Matheus Machado, who are working to optimize car performance, as well as Leonardo Sanchez and Diego Nunes, who are seeking their first victory in the series following a previous incident in Portugal.
The weekend schedule includes free practice sessions on Friday morning, followed by qualifying in the afternoon to determine the grid based on the average of the best laps from each driver pair. The main endurance race is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
