Porsche dragged by fuel tanker in Dobbiaco, Italy

On the morning of 29 July, a Porsche collided with a fuel‑laden tanker on the SS51 near Dobbiaco, Italy. The sports car became wedged under the tanker and was dragged for about 30 metres before the driver managed to free it. Both the car driver and the truck driver escaped without injuries.

Volunteer firefighters were dispatched to the scene to prevent a fire, inspect the tanker for leaks, and secure the roadway. The incident caused significant traffic delays on the state road until the vehicles were removed and the road cleared. The Carabinieri are conducting an investigation to determine the speeds, positions and conditions that led to the crash.
