Porsche Korea hosts K-Heritage Art exhibition at Changdeokgung Palace
Porsche Korea has launched the 'K-Heritage Art Exhibition, Line of Connection' at Nakseonjae within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Changdeokgung Palace. Running from September 1 to September 6, the exhibition is part of the 'Porsche Future Heritage' social contribution program, which aims to support the preservation and transmission of Korea's intangible national heritage.
The event features approximately 160 works from 48 participants, including national intangible heritage holders, traditional masters, and contemporary artists. The exhibition is organized to showcase the connection between traditional craftsmanship and modern interpretation across various genres such as painting, installation, and photography.
As part of the event, special collaborative pieces were unveiled, including a lacquerware jewelry box by master Jeong Su-hwa and a gold leaf work by master Kim Ki-ho, both incorporating Porsche branding elements with traditional Korean motifs. To date, Porsche Korea has donated 1.221 billion KRW through its heritage support initiatives.
