Porsche Korea wins Seoul Garden City Award for urban greening
Porsche Korea has received the Corporate Accompanying Award at the 2026 Seoul Garden City Awards for its contributions to urban greening and biodiversity. The award recognizes the company’s ‘Believe in Dream-Park’ project, specifically the creation of a 400-square-meter rain garden at Jangpyeong Neighborhood Park in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
In collaboration with the Seoul Green Trust, Porsche Korea revitalized the aging park area by implementing a stream-style structure that allows rainwater to circulate naturally. The project utilizes native plant species to improve the urban ecological environment. Beyond physical construction, the company has engaged in community programs such as the ‘Our Neighborhood Ecological Explorer Club’ and installed ‘Bee Houses’ to support urban wild bee habitats.
The ‘Believe in Dream’ project, which began in 2021, focuses on urban beekeeping and expanding green spaces. Following the first rain garden in 2024 and a second project at Jangan Neighborhood Park in 2025, the company plans to expand its scope this year by creating a third site at Yeongheung Forest Park in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
