Porsche launches PCCM Plus infotainment for modern classics

Porsche has introduced the Porsche Classic Communication Management Plus (PCCM Plus), a new infotainment system designed to bring modern connectivity to selected classic models. The upgrade targets 911, Boxster, and Cayman models produced between 2009 and 2016.

The system features a seven-inch high-resolution touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is engineered to integrate into the original dashboard to maintain the vehicle’s aesthetic character while providing contemporary features such as smartphone navigation, music streaming, and Bluetooth audio.

Additional technical enhancements include 4G connectivity via a nano SIM card slot, over-the-air map updates, and satellite navigation imagery. The system also maintains compatibility with existing vehicle functions, allowing steering wheel controls and instrument cluster displays to remain operational. For certain models, the system can display oil temperature and pressure, and provides visual parking assistance for Boxster and Cayman owners.
