Porsche leads luxury car brand rankings for ninth consecutive year

Porsche has maintained its position as the world’s most valuable luxury and premium brand for the ninth consecutive year, according to the Brand Finance 2026 Luxury & Premium 50 ranking. Although its brand value decreased by 15 percent to USD 35.2 billion, the Volkswagen-owned manufacturer remains the leader in the sector. Under CEO Michael Leiters, the company is currently focused on operational restructuring and long-term competitiveness, which recently included the sale of its stake in Bugatti.

Following Porsche in the rankings are Italian brands Ferrari and Lamborghini. Other notable luxury marques include Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, and Aston Martin. The report also identified Alpine as a brand to watch, noting a 33 percent increase in its brand value to USD 1.1 billion, and highlighted British brand Jaguar due to its upcoming all-electric Type 01 launch.

In terms of investment performance, Ferrari has demonstrated significant growth, with its shares increasing 742 percent over the last decade, significantly outperforming mass-market manufacturers like Ford.
