Porsche unveils 2025 911 Carrera GTS hybrid and 711‑hp Turbo S
Porsche has introduced the 2025 911 Carrera GTS hybrid, the first hybrid powertrain offered in the standard 911 lineup. The model pairs a turbocharged 3.6‑liter flat‑six engine with a 54‑horsepower electric motor for a combined output of 541 hp and 449 lb‑ft of torque, achieving 0‑60 mph in 2.9 seconds while adding only about 110 lb of weight. The system recharges via regenerative braking and does not include a plug‑in port, helping the car meet stricter emissions rules in Europe and California.
At the same time, Porsche launched the all‑new 911 Turbo S in the Philippines to mark its 30th‑anniversary celebration. The Turbo S features a 711‑hp T‑Hybrid powertrain delivering 800 Nm of torque, active rear‑wing aerodynamics, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, ceramic composite brakes and a lightweight titanium exhaust. The model is positioned as the most powerful series‑production Turbo S, combining supercar performance with everyday usability.
