Porsche unveils custom 911 Turbo S Land Down Under tribute

Porsche has unveiled the "911 Turbo S Land Down Under," a one-off custom vehicle created through its Sonderwunsch program to celebrate the brand's 75th anniversary in Australia.

The project features a specialized exterior paint job involving over 300 hours of manual labor. Using exclusive Chromaflair colors—Terra Australis Red and Southern Cross Blue—the seven-layer application creates a color-shifting effect that changes based on light angles, transitioning between orange, blue, green, and gold.

Designed in collaboration with artist Werner Bronkhorst, the vehicle includes several thematic details:

- A "ghosting" effect on the roof displaying the number 75. - Interior artwork depicting Australian fauna, such as kangaroos and koalas. - A hidden message, "See ya later mate," located under the rear retractable spoiler, which becomes visible when the wing is deployed in Sport Plus mode or at speeds above 80 km/h. - An interior featuring Silky Oak wood and seats with 14,417 perforations designed to mimic artistic brushstrokes.
