Porsche wins second consecutive Gran Turismo World Series Manufacturers Cup round

Porsche has secured its second consecutive victory in the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series Manufacturers Cup. Takuma Sasaki claimed the win during the round held at the Fuji International Speedway.

Starting from second on the grid, Sasaki took the lead from Audi’s Sota Moriyama early in the 27-lap race. Despite heavy rain at the start, the track conditions eventually dried, influencing tire strategies across the field. Sasaki maintained his lead throughout the event to extend Porsche’s position in the series standings.

In the battle for second place, Lamborghini’s Yuki Kodaka utilized medium slick tires to overtake Audi’s Sota Moriyama, who had opted for soft tires that lost performance in the final laps.
