Port Adelaide delists six players including Jackson Mead

Port Adelaide has confirmed the delisting of six players as the club begins its post-season transition. The group includes Jackson Mead, a 24-year-old father-son selection who played 74 games for the club, as well as midfielder Will Lorenz and Jacob Moss.

Other players released from the list are Mani Liddy, Xavier Walsh, Benny Barrett, and Mani Liddy. List manager Jason Cripps expressed gratitude for the service provided by the departing players, noting that Mead was a significant part of the club’s history.

Following a 15th-place finish under first-year coach Josh Carr, the club is undergoing significant roster changes. Mead indicated he remains hopeful to find a new AFL club, stating he is still “in love with footy.”
