Port authorities in Argentina and Chile host educational logistics initiatives

The Puerto Dock Sud in Argentina served as the venue for the closing session of a federal diploma program in Education for Work, organized by the Federal Council of Investments (CFI). The event brought together over 50 officials from labor, production, and training sectors across various provinces.

Mónica Litza, president of the Puerto Dock Sud Management Consortium, emphasized the need to prepare workers for technological and productive transformations in the global economy. The consortium is currently promoting initiatives such as Aula Puerto, focused on port-related vocational training, and Dock Sud Global, which aims to strengthen the international integration of companies.

In Chile, the Port of Iquique hosted a delegation of 27 logistics administration students from the Liceo Alcalde Sergio González Gutiérrez in Pozo Almonte. As part of the “Vive Tu Puerto” campaign, the visit allowed students to observe the operational and logistical aspects of foreign trade and the strategic role of port infrastructure in the Tarapacá Region.
