Port Authority of Cartagena launches guided dock tours

The Port Authority of Cartagena has launched a new guided tour program titled ‘El Puerto contado por sus protagonistas’ (The Port told by its protagonists). The initiative allows citizens to explore the Cartagena and Escombreras docks alongside former employees who will share personal experiences and historical insights.

The program is part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Junta de Obras del Puerto, the predecessor to the current Port Authority. It also coincides with the centenary of the institution's central building. Tours are scheduled for every non-holiday Saturday through the end of the year, featuring bus departures from the Cofradía de Pescadores.
