Port City Brewing Co. hosts Port to Port Beer Festival in Alexandria as Washington Brewers Guild launches Harvest Fest

Port City Brewing Co. in Alexandria, Virginia, will hold the Port to Port Beer Festival on Saturday, Aug. 8. The ticketed event features brews from more than 20 breweries nationwide, a bottomless five‑ounce glass, outdoor games and a DJ, with tickets priced at $60. The festival coincides with a city‑wide tax‑free weekend (Aug. 7‑9) that waives sales tax on school supplies, clothing, footwear and other items.

The Washington Brewers Guild announced its first annual Harvest Fest for Saturday, Sep. 26 at Stoup Brewing’s Capitol Hill location in Seattle. The festival will showcase fresh hop beers, seasonal lagers and food pairings, with sensory activities from CLS Hop Farm, LINC Malt and Cold Stream Malt & Grain. Tickets are on sale, and the event highlights Washington’s agricultural bounty.

Both festivals aim to draw craft‑beer enthusiasts and support local businesses through themed celebrations and community engagement.
