Port Everglades reports record cruise passenger numbers
Port Everglades has announced its third consecutive year of record-breaking passenger numbers, welcoming more than 5.38 million cruise guests during the 2026 fiscal year.
To support this growth, the port has implemented several infrastructure and organizational changes. This includes the complete renovation of Cruise Terminal 18, which features modernized design elements and expanded VIP areas, as well as the addition of over 850 parking spaces. Additionally, Martin Jackson has been appointed director of the newly created Cruise Services Division to oversee the port's expanding cruise business line.
The upcoming 2027-28 season is expected to feature significant arrivals, including Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, which can accommodate up to 7,600 passengers, and the Orient Express Corinthian, the world’s largest sailing yacht. The port will host nine cruise lines and 40 different ships. The new season's cruise guide features artwork by South Florida artist Romero Britto.
