Port Harcourt building collapse injures four people

Four people were injured on Friday night when a portion of a 60-year-old two-storey building collapsed in the Old Port Harcourt Township area of Rivers State. The incident occurred at No. 18 Club Road when the parapet of the second floor broke away and fell onto the ground floor, where individuals were gathered at a bar.

Witnesses reported that the debris struck several people, including a woman who sustained injuries to her head and ear. No fatalities were recorded. Following the collapse, residents of the building vacated the premises due to fears of further structural failure. Government officials have since cordoned off the area with red tape.
