Port of Almería welcomes Saga Cruises' Spirit of Adventure

The Spirit of Adventure, a British vessel operated by Saga Cruises, has made its inaugural call at the Port of Almería. Carrying nearly 1,000 passengers, the ship arrived from Corsica and is scheduled to continue its itinerary toward Gibraltar.

To mark the occasion, a traditional pennant exchange ceremony was held involving representatives from the Bahía Almeriport Foundation, the Almería Port Authority, and local municipal tourism officials. The arrival of Saga Cruises marks the addition of a new company to the port's schedule, reflecting efforts to expand the destination's presence among international cruise lines operating in the Mediterranean.

Jorge Perals, manager of the Bahía Almeriport Foundation, stated that the inclusion of Saga Cruises is a positive sign of the promotion work being conducted to attract international interest. The port expects to maintain an active schedule with further calls planned for September and October.
