Port of Annaba hosts two passenger vessels on the same day

The Port of Annaba recently managed a rare simultaneous arrival of two passenger vessels on the same day. The GNV Cristal, operated by the Italian company GNV, arrived from Civitavecchia, Italy, carrying 114 passengers and 71 vehicles. Following its departure, the El Djazaïr II, operated by the national company Algérie Ferries, arrived from Marseille, France, with 126 passengers and 88 vehicles.

On the return legs, both vessels saw increased occupancy. The GNV Cristal departed with 229 passengers and 96 vehicles, while the El Djazaïr II departed for Marseille with 637 passengers and 283 vehicles. The Entreprise Portuaire d’Annaba reported that all docking, passenger management, and administrative formalities were completed successfully and in good organizational conditions.
