The Port of Bilbao hosted three major cruise ships simultaneously this Monday, creating a notable maritime scene. The visiting vessels included the ultra-luxury Crystal Serenity, the Mein Schiff 2, and the MS Iona.
The Crystal Serenity is an exclusive vessel with a capacity for approximately 740 passengers, featuring high-end amenities such as the Umi Uma by Nobu restaurant and specialized sports facilities including padel and pickleball courts.
The Mein Schiff 2 is a modern cruise ship measuring 315.7 meters in length, capable of carrying nearly 2,900 passengers across 16 decks. It operates on a premium all-inclusive concept and includes various dining, wellness, and art spaces.
Completing the group is the MS Iona, the largest ship built by P&O Cruises. Constructed by Meyer Werft, the vessel has a gross tonnage of 184,089 and was specifically designed for the British market following an investment of approximately £730 million.
