Port of Seville and Endesa invest in energy infrastructure

The Port of Seville and the Free Trade Zone have announced an agreement with Endesa to develop new electrical infrastructure. The project aims to meet an expected demand of 20 MW to support upcoming logistical and industrial developments on the right bank of the port, including aeronautical industry projects within the Free Trade Zone.

The Port of Seville and the Free Trade Zone will invest more than 3 million euros in the project's development. Endesa will be responsible for the design, processing, construction, and commissioning of the new facilities. This initiative is intended to attract industrial investment and facilitate the energy transformation of major logistical hubs through electrification and decarbonization.

This agreement follows a previous contract signed a year ago between the entities for the expansion of the Palmas Altas electrical substation, a project involving an investment of over 5 million euros by the port authority.
