Port of Seville begins land lease process for Ryanair engine center

The Port of Seville has initiated the legal procedure to lease land for a proposed aircraft engine maintenance center by Ryanair. The project, managed through the subsidiary Negocios Raiseber, involves a plot of approximately 94,600 square meters in the port's Free Zone.

If the company selects Seville over competing locations such as Poland, the investment is expected to reach approximately 291.63 million euros. The facility would specialize in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of turbofan engines and their components, with the capacity to perform roughly 200 engine maintenance operations annually.

The administrative process has entered a one-month period to allow for other potential project applications for the same site. The center would include maintenance hangars, test cells, logistics facilities, and fuel storage areas.
