Port of Sines acquires three electric 4x4 vehicles

The Administration of the Ports of Sines and the Algarve (APS) has acquired three new 100% electric 4x4 pick-up vehicles to strengthen its operational fleet at the Port of Sines.

These vehicles are intended for critical daily management tasks, including emergency response, monitoring, inspection, and prevention efforts related to security and the environment. The 4x4 capability is specifically designed to ensure high mobility and rapid response across different areas of the port infrastructure.

This acquisition is part of the Port of Sines' broader decarbonization strategy. By integrating electric mobility solutions, the port authority aims to progressively reduce carbon dioxide emissions associated with its operations while optimizing maintenance and operational costs.
