Port of Termoli joins European Secure Ports project

The Port of Termoli is joining the “Secure Ports” cross-border network, a European project designed to enhance both physical and cyber security for small ports in the Adriatic area. Funded by the Interreg VI-A IPA South Adriatic 2021-2027 program with a total budget of over 1 million euros, the initiative aims to improve the ability of port infrastructures to prevent and respond to emergencies, threats, and digital attacks.

The project will implement integrated technologies, including a real-time threat monitoring dashboard and the use of BIM and GIS models for digital infrastructure management. These tools are intended to increase the resilience of port structures against digitalization risks and climate change. The Municipality of Termoli is a partner in the project, receiving approximately 108,000 euros, while the Academy Mobilità in Taranto serves as the project leader.
