Port of Vlorë sees high passenger influx from Brindisi

The Port of Vlorë is experiencing a high influx of travelers as the summer tourist season reaches its peak. On a recent Sunday, approximately 2,700 passengers arrived via three ferries on the Brindisi-Vlorë line.

In addition to the high volume of travelers, about 700 vehicles arrived at the port. To manage the heavy traffic and prevent long queues, the Border Police increased the number of document control counters from the standard eight to 12.

A significant number of the arrivals are Italian tourists traveling to southern Albania for summer vacations. Authorities expect this high volume of passengers and vehicles to continue in the coming days.
