Port Said and Al‑Dabba launch intensified cleaning and pest‑control drives

In Port Said, Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon ordered continued pest‑control operations, including spraying and disinfection across all neighborhoods. Teams used approved insecticides and rodenticide to target mosquitoes, flies, and rodents in residential districts, parks, school zones and public facilities, aiming to curb disease‑bearing pests and improve public health.

In the city of Al‑Dabba, Matrouh Governor Mohamed Zamlout and local officials, led by Dean Mahmoud Hamdi, carried out daily street‑cleaning and waste‑removal activities. Mechanical equipment cleared accumulated trash and dust from main roads, including the airport access road, while crews lifted debris from streets and public squares to enhance the city’s appearance and ensure a safe, sanitary environment for residents.
