Port Said Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon launches road upgrades and commemorative mural

Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon of Port Said inspected the ongoing upgrade of the Stalingrad axis in the Al-Munakh district, covering work from Shorouq Al‑Nasr to Adel Al‑Shurbiny. The project includes a new traffic lane, landscaping, street lighting, improved drainage and tree planting to enhance traffic flow and the area's appearance. During the visit he met local residents, urged faster completion and emphasized quality standards.

On the same day the governor inaugurated the “Port Said Resilience 1956” mural, a public artwork that traces the city’s history from the opening of the Suez Canal through the 1956 conflict and the October 1973 victory. The mural is intended to preserve the city’s historical identity and inspire younger generations.
