Port Said Governor Ibrahim Ahmed Abu Limon rolls out aid and neighborhood clean‑up drives
Governor Ibrahim Ahmed Abu Limon of Egypt’s Port Said Governorate met citizens at the main hall of the governorate’s headquarters, distributing urgent cash, food and other assistance to first‑aid families and addressing grievances over shop rents, job losses and pension suspensions. He pledged to review legal cases and coordinate with relevant authorities to resolve the issues.
Following the meeting, extensive field campaigns were launched across Port Said and the neighboring city of Port Fouad to improve public services and urban hygiene. Teams seized illegal street vending equipment, inspected food outlets, removed unlicensed stalls, and confiscated spoiled seafood and meat products. Parallel initiatives expanded green spaces, installed modern irrigation systems, and enforced strict street‑discipline measures, aligning with Egypt Vision 2030’s sustainability goals.
