Port Said Governor inspects infrastructure and enforces urban order
Port Said Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon has conducted extensive field inspections to monitor infrastructure development projects and service delivery across the governorate. The tours included reviewing the final stages of the Hassan Ammar Street expansion near the Egyptian Club stadium, which involves road widening, the creation of a central median, and increased greenery.
In addition to infrastructure, the Governor inspected residential development in the Al-Manakh district, focusing on upgrading lighting, sanitation, and public parks. Abu Limon also visited food service centers and technological service hubs to ensure staff adherence to official working hours and the quality of citizen services.
To restore urban order, executive authorities have launched intensive campaigns to remove street encroachments, illegal sidewalk obstructions, and accumulated construction debris. These enforcement actions include the seizure and destruction of illegal wooden furniture to prevent its reuse in public spaces. The Governor has emphasized strict legal measures against violators and prohibited the cutting of trees to preserve the city's green spaces.
