Port Said Governor Meets Egypt’s Grand Mufti to Expand Dar al‑Ifta Services

Governor Ibrahim Abu Leimon of Egypt’s Port Said province received Grand Mufti Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayad for talks on deepening cooperation between the governorate and the Egyptian Dar al‑Ifta. The officials discussed expanding the Dar al‑Ifta’s presence in Port Said, including the possible establishment of a local branch to provide religious rulings, family‑counseling programs, training courses and community awareness initiatives. Both emphasized the aim of promoting moderate religious guidance, supporting social development and countering extremist ideas through coordinated outreach and educational activities.
