Port Said Governor orders improvements to waste management and public property protection

Port Said Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon has met with the chairman of Nahdet Misr for Modern Environmental Services to discuss improving the governorate's waste management and cleanliness systems. The discussions focused on increasing the efficiency of the vehicle fleet, optimizing labor distribution, and expanding the availability of waste bins and household collection services.

The Governor set a deadline of September 30 to achieve a visible improvement in cleanliness levels and requested bi-weekly progress reports to monitor performance and address obstacles.

Additionally, Governor Abu Limon emphasized the importance of protecting public property, such as street lighting, parks, and public benches. He warned that vandalism or defacing public assets constitutes a waste of public funds and urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining the city's urban appearance.
