Port Said Governor oversees urban development projects

Ibrahim Abu Limon, the Governor of Port Said, is overseeing extensive urban development and infrastructure improvement projects across several districts, including Al-Manakh and Al-Zohour.

In Al-Manakh, the development plan targets 202 residential buildings across multiple zones. Works include upgrading sewage and drinking water networks, paving roads, improving sidewalks, enhancing street lighting, and renovating building facades. Specific focus is being placed on the fifth zone, which involves 110 buildings, and the area surrounding the Stalingrad Square mural.

In Al-Zohour, projects are underway in the Ali (Solar Energy) and Omar bin Al-Khattab areas, covering a combined total of 256 residential buildings. These efforts aim to improve infrastructure, lighting, and green spaces.

Additionally, the Governor has emphasized strict measures regarding public cleanliness and waste management. He has ordered the deployment of more equipment and the implementation of continuous 24-hour shifts to ensure waste is collected promptly and streets remain clean. The Governor also highlighted the importance of energy conservation and the efficient use of electricity while maintaining high-quality street lighting.
