Port Said ports receive two Ro-Ro vessels within 48 hours

The Suez Canal Economic Zone announced that the East and West Port Said ports received two Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessels within a 48-hour period. This activity aims to enhance the region's operational and logistical capabilities for vehicle handling and transit services.

At Port Said East, the vessel ‘LEO LEADER’ arrived from Aqaba, Jordan, to discharge 235 transit vehicles at the Suez Canal Automotive Terminal (SCAT). This marks the sixth such operation since the terminal began its activities.

Simultaneously, Port Said West received the ‘AH SHIN’ from Koper, Slovenia. The vessel is discharging 671 vehicles as part of an Egyptian government initiative for Egyptians living abroad to import cars. The ‘AH SHIN’ flies the Panamanian flag and has a total capacity of 57,440 tons.
