Portable and Charles Okocha to clash in Lagos celebrity boxing rematch

Nigerian street‑pop singer Portable will face Nollywood actor and internet personality Charles Okocha in a celebrity boxing rematch on 31 July. The bout, billed as “Unfinished Business,” is set for the Balmoral Convention Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, and will be part of an event that also includes a match between Agbaje and Musa.

The rivalry began in 2023 after Portable accused Okocha of a ₦40 million business deal fraud, leading to a first fight at Landmark Beach where Portable was declared the winner. Portable recently lost his celebrity‑boxing title to comedian Carter Efe, making the upcoming fight his first since that defeat. Both parties say the July showdown will settle the long‑running dispute.
