Portable demands DNA tests for children with Ashabi Simple

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has demanded DNA testing for his two children with actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, also known as Ashabi Simple, before committing to further financial support.

The dispute arose following allegations from Ashabi regarding Portable’s failure to provide adequate upkeep. She claimed that between January and September, the singer provided only ₦200,000 for the children and that she had personally covered their school fees for three terms, as well as their food and clothing.

Portable has questioned the paternity of the children, stating that their physical resemblance to him is not sufficient proof of biological relation. He expressed a lack of trust in the children's mother and stated, “I need DNA test asap so I can take care of those kids because I do not trust their mother. I cannot take care of another man child.”
