Portimão launches free Summer Health Market and extensive July sports programme

On 12 July, LOVITALL organised a free Summer Health Market at the Carvoeiro Tennis & Padel Club in the Algarve. Around 20 local exhibitors offered health and wellbeing services, healthy products, massages, coaching, artisan foods, drinks and children’s activities, providing residents and visitors a day to discover local businesses and enjoy community activities.

The Portimão municipality’s July sports agenda runs from 15 July to 12 September, offering free fitness classes such as yoga, pilates and zumba on Praia da Rocha, equipment loans for beach sports, and a series of international competitions. Highlights include the Porsche Cup Brazil (Sprint and Endurance), the Ferrari Challenge at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, an adapted‑surf meet‑up, a beach‑volleyball league, a 24‑hour tennis and padel marathon, handball and karate seminars, and the national sailing race Volta à Portugal à Vela.
