Motorsport events headline October racing schedules in Europe

GT World Challenge 6 Days Enduro Baja Portalegre 500 motorsport enduro

Major motorsport events are taking place across Europe this October. In Portugal, the 100th edition of the 6 Days Enduro of Nations is held in Grândola, featuring national teams from 34 countries, including two Finnish squads. Additionally, the Baja Portalegre 500 in Alto Alentejo has recorded its highest participation in 20 years, with 441 entrants across various categories.

In Portimão, the GT World Challenge season concludes with over 60 GT3 cars and 10 manufacturers competing. The event features a notable debut for four-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen, racing with his Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing.

In Italy, the Rally Città di Bassano saw a highly competitive finish, with Roberto Daprà securing victory by just 1.8 seconds over Bostjan Avbelj. The event serves as a critical round for the Italian Rally Challenger championship.
