Portkeys introduces LH5P III HDMI camera control monitor
Portkeys has officially announced the LH5P III, the third generation of its HDMI camera control monitor, at IBC 2026. The device features a 5.7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2160 x 1080, allowing for a full 16:9 image display while maintaining a dedicated strip for status bars and function buttons.
The monitor offers 2200 nits of brightness, making it suitable for daylight viewing without a hood. It utilizes a true 10-bit hardware panel covering 100% of the DCI-P3 and Rec. 709 color spaces. Constructed from aluminum alloy, the unit weighs 235g, which is 18% lighter than its predecessor.
Key technical features include 4K60 HDMI input and output, 3D LUT monitoring with 17x17x17 precision, and anamorphic de-squeezing for 10 standard aspect ratios. The device runs the redesigned MOVNORM operating system and includes a unique Log Stops tool that measures exposure based on the camera’s real stop data. It also supports a one-to-many control mode, enabling a single monitor to drive up to four cameras.
