Portland community cycling events offer diverse group rides

Greater Portland offers various group cycling opportunities ranging from social rides to long-distance endurance events. The Portland Bike Party hosts monthly family-friendly rides on the third Friday of each month, featuring music and volunteers to assist with road crossings.

Other local options include the Portland Gear Hub, which organizes Mellow Monday rides for new cyclists and Thursday social road rides covering approximately 20 miles. Additionally, the inaugural Plaid Pantry Century recently drew nearly 300 participants for a 102.7-mile route that visited 53 store locations across the city.
