Portland Hearts of Pine and Richmond Kickers draw 1-1

The Richmond Kickers and Portland Hearts of Pine played to a 1-1 draw in a USL League One match held in Richmond, Virginia.

Matteo Kidd opened the scoring for Portland in the 37th minute following a pass from JayTee Kamara. Richmond responded in the 74th minute when Joshua Kirkland converted a feed from Owen O’Malley to equalize.

Despite Richmond's offensive pressure and eight shots on frame, Portland goalkeeper Hunter Morse made several key saves to maintain the draw. The result leaves Portland with a record of 5-9-8 and Richmond at 5-12-4, with Richmond currently sitting in 16th place in the league standings.
