Portland, Oregon shooting leaves one dead and five injured

A shooting occurred on Sunday morning at about 3:33 a.m. in Portland, Oregon’s North Precinct, near the 5800 block of Northeast Alberta Street. Police responding to the scene found two people wounded; four additional victims arrived at the hospital by private transport. An adult male later died from his injuries, while five others – including a teenager – were treated for non‑life‑threatening wounds. The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested. Portland Police Department’s homicide unit has asked anyone with information to contact investigators.

In a separate incident mentioned in the same release, authorities in Twin Falls, Idaho reported a restaurant shooting that resulted in at least three deaths and two injuries.
