Porto airport detains foreign national with 3 kg of cocaine

Portuguese police (PJ) stopped a 55‑year‑old foreign man at Francisco Sá‑Carneiro Airport in Porto after a tip from the International Police Cooperation point. The man had arrived from Brazil and, when his checked luggage was examined, officers found three kilograms of cocaine concealed within the suitcase structure.

He was placed in police custody and will be presented to the competent judicial authority for a first interrogation and the application of coercive measures.
