Porto Alegre and Natal announce new municipal inspection job openings

The Porto Alegre City Hall revised its municipal inspection agent competition, adding a mandatory Category B driver's license for appointment and adjusting the exam syllabus. The selection, organized by Fundação La Salle, offers five immediate vacancies plus a reserve list, with applications open from 7 July to 5 August 2026 and the written test scheduled for 27 September 2026.

In Natal, a new municipal law (Law 8.187/2026) restructures the career of traffic and transport agents, creating 50 new positions and expanding the total to 250. The role now requires a completed higher‑education degree, a 160‑hour monthly work schedule, and offers an initial basic salary of R$ 5,692.67 plus a road‑safety allowance that brings total compensation above R$ 8,500. The law was signed by Mayor Paulinho Freire and will guide the upcoming STTU recruitment process.
