Porto Alegre hospitality sector sees luxury hotel developments

The hospitality sector in Porto Alegre is seeing significant developments with the renovation of the Hilton Porto Alegre and the upcoming launch of a new luxury brand.

Lubianca Arquitetos, in collaboration with Hilton’s international design team, has completed a renovation of 175 rooms at the Hilton Porto Alegre. The design, titled ‘Diamante de Moinhos de Vento’, utilizes geometric facets inspired by a diamond to guide the interior aesthetics, incorporating materials like wood, terracotta, and blue tones to create a sense of precision and permanence.

Additionally, ICH Hotels and the developer CFL have announced the opening of The Almer Porto Alegre, scheduled for January 2027. This luxury project represents an investment of approximately R$ 130 million. Located on Avenida Nilo Peçanha overlooking the Country Club golf course, the hotel will feature 84 apartments and suites designed with a ‘quiet luxury’ philosophy, including a spa and a rooftop with panoramic views.
