Porto Alegre to host exchange arbitrage training for seniors

Porto Alegre will host an exchange arbitrage course from August 20 to 22. This sporting modality, specifically designed for seniors, incorporates elements of adapted volleyball.

The training program is organized by the Federação Gaúcha de Jogos Adaptados para Idosos (FGJAI) and the Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer (Smel), with support from Sesc. The course consists of two stages: a theoretical session held online via the Meet platform on August 20, and a practical session on August 22 at the Centro de Comunidade Vila Elizabeth (Cecove). The initiative aims to provide participants with the necessary knowledge of rules and procedures to officiate matches in this adapted team sport.
