Porto Ceresio healthcare services to implement itinerant PUA model
The Punto Unico di Accesso (PUA) in Porto Ceresio is transitioning to an itinerant service model to improve healthcare accessibility within the Arcisate District. Starting in October 2026, the PUA service at the via Mazzini 22 location will be available every Friday from 8:00 to 10:00.
The PUA provides orientation for citizens facing health vulnerabilities, including assistance with home care services, medical aids, chronic disease management, and guidance on therapies such as injections or wound care. The service also remains active at the Casa di Comunità in Arcisate.
Additionally, the blood collection center (Centro Prelievi) in Porto Ceresio will maintain its current schedule, offering direct access without an appointment every Friday from 7:00 to 9:00. Medical reports can be accessed online via the Electronic Health Record (FSE) or collected in person every Friday between 8:00 and 10:00. Payments at the collection center must be made electronically via POS.
