Porto Conte Park and Alpine Rescue launch joint safety initiative

The Porto Conte Regional Natural Park and the Sardinia regional service of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps have entered the operational phase of a collaboration agreement. Following an initial operational meeting held in Alghero, the two entities are planning joint activities focused on information, training, and the promotion of best practices for navigating rugged and underground natural environments.

The partnership aims to combine professional expertise to promote environmental respect, encourage conscious land use, and prevent accidents in mountainous and cave settings. Key initiatives include environmental education programs specifically designed for students of all school levels, as well as efforts to raise public awareness regarding the institutional role and daily rescue operations performed by the Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps.
